We are looking for a Brewery Sales Lead to join Three 3s Brewing Co, a leading brewery in the industry. As a Brewery Sales Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding our market reach. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to promote our craft beers, build strong relationships with clients, and achieve revenue targets. The Brewery Sales Lead will be instrumental in increasing brand awareness, driving sales growth, and fostering customer loyalty. You will work on exciting projects such as launching new products, organizing promotional events, and collaborating with the marketing team to create compelling sales campaigns. This role requires a passion for craft beer, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset to identify new business opportunities and drive sales success.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent Three 3’s brewing at on and off-premise accounts in New Jersey while developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts
  • Educate distributors, retailers, and consumers in the territory on all general brewery and brand specific knowledge via distributor sales meeting presentations, work-withs, retail staff educations, consumer tastings and events.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to maximize sales growth
  • Maintain an understanding of all legal restrictions regarding brewery product in each market and ensure all initiatives are executed within those limitations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create sales collateral and promotional materials
  • Participate in industry events, festivals, and tastings to promote the brand
  • Provide product training and support to customers and distribution partners
  • Analyze sales data and market feedback to optimize sales performance
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review

Requirements:

  • 2+ years prior experience in sales, preferably in the craft alcohol industry
  • A valid NJ driver’s license, registered, reliable and insured vehicle and ability to drive to and from accounts and events daily
  • Strong knowledge and passion for craft beer and the brewing process
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings, events, and industry conferences
  • Energetic, organized, and motivated problem solver
  • Friendly and engaging attitude, competitive spirit and a confident personality
  • Ability to easily move cases of beer (~30 pounds each)
  • Ability to maneuver 160lb kegs
